Heroes
We broadcast today from the Hall of the Heroes. Our 78 RPM maestros are on hand to celebrate superhuman physical strength, people who have prevailed against insuperable odds, or those who went down fighting to the end. We gain insight into what heroism meant in the late 19th and early 20th century from our voluminous archive of stacks of shellac. Our white-gloved researchers have selected quite a number of champions, conquerors and lionhearts and placed the names in the special Round the World Top Hat of the Heroes, which we will select at random.
