Midnight
A foray into the unspeakable mysteries of midnight. Midnight is past our bedtime, so we studied midnight implicitly through song references and found that people who are awake at midnight are sometimes lonesome, obsessing about their loved ones, listening to the train go by disappearing into the night on a ribbon of track extending to infinity, walking down the empty streets whose inky shadows contain noncorporeal entities. Or they’re just out having a good time dancing.
